LCAT I - Lubrication Analyst ISO Category I

Overview

Lubrication Management and Analysis in condition monitoring and diagnosis of faults in machinery is a critical activity in predictive maintenance programs.

The effectiveness of this technology depends on the capabilities and awareness of individuals who collect the samples, perform the measurements, and analyze the data.

Wood’s nationally recognised training and certification programs provide the necessary skills and competency to measure and assess machinery condition, oil health, and contamination levels.

The LCAT I qualification ensures personnel are certified to perform simple tasks related to the proper lubrication of machines, according to established and recognized procedures.

The LCAT I qualification is a precursor to the LCAT II training for those wanting to develop further skills in lubrication management and analysis.

Certification confirms the attainment of skills required to do the job and provides participants with an internationally recognised qualification.

Internationally recognised

Wood's LCAT lubrication courses comply with International Standards ISO 18436-1, ISO 18436-3, ISO 18436-4, ISO/IEC 17024 and offer optional certification by the Australian Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (AINDT).

Course Duration:

3 days training plus optional 2 hour certification exam.
